Bouffier leader, Loix ahead of Delecour

The snow which disrupted the second day of Rally Monte-Carlo did not disrupt the first pass in the Moulinet specials? La Bollène-Vésubie and Lantosque? Lucéram. These are two “in the background” drivers, Nicolas Vouilloez (Skoda Fabia S2000) and Giandomenico Basso (Peugeot 207 S2000), eighth and eleventh in the general classification, who set the best time in each of the two specials.

Bryan Bouffier (Peugeot 207 S2000), comfortable leader of the event, was able to maintain the gap on his pursuers, in particular on Freddy Loix (Skoda Fabia S2000), second at 47??7. François Delecour (Peugeot 207 S2000), convinced at the end of the afternoon that he would not finish on the podium, slipped one place behind the Belgian. The winner of the 1994 Monte-Carlo now has a 5??9 lead over his closest pursuer, Guy Wilks (Peugeot 207 S2000).

Stéphane Sarrazin (Peugeot 207 S2000) lost fourth place to the Briton, while he seemed on his way to winning the scratch in SS11. “But I no longer have a gearbox, it’s stuck in fourth,” he revealed upon his arrival. A passage in the two stages is planned from 23:15 p.m.
