Bouffier takes the lead on the snow

Bryan Bouffier (Peugeot 207 S2000) and his team, by putting snow tires on car no. 4, had a hollow nose at the start of SS7, linking St Jean en Royans to Font d'Urle. The Frenchman, skilled on the snow, was able to take advantage of this choice throughout the second part of the special. In the end, the French Champion finished in 14:57??1 and relegated his rivals far behind.

The only driver able to compete thanks to his studded tires, François Delecour (Peugeot 207 S2000) still lost more than 18 seconds. From seventh, Bryan Bouffier moved to first in a single stage! ?I should have taken nails but it?s good to see the snow coming here. The car is going well and we will try to keep the good pace,” commented the Drôme driver.

Petter Solberg (Peugeot 207 S2000) had a puncture, Juho Hänninen (Skoda Fabia S2000) suffered a lot, Jean-Sébastien Vigion (Peugeot 207 S2000) lost more than four minutes on his slick tires? The driver who managed to do well was Stéphane Sarrazin (Peugeot 207 S2000): fourth fastest in SS7, he climbed to second place overall, 3?8 behind Bryan Bouffier. On the other hand, Hänninen plunged to 4th, Solberg to 7th?
