Bouffier focuses on the Championship

The battle for victory in the Yalta Rally was intense until the end, but the reigning Champion did not tremble and went on to achieve his second victory on asphalt (first in Russia in 2009). Bryan Bouffier still takes the points for 2nd place, after missing a good result at the Tour de Corse by leaving at the end of the event.

This error seems to have served as a lesson to the pilot Peugeot , who prefers to think about the Championship rather than the victory of the rally. “I did my best to overtake him, but it wasn’t easy”, admits the Frenchman. “But above all I think about the Championship. My season started well, but the last races were not good at all. I really need to score some points. »

Bryan Bouffier is already focusing on the next events, starting with the next Ypres Rally which will take place from June 23 to 25. “There are a lot of new rallies remaining and the level is very high. But my position is more comfortable since I am in 3rd place in the Championship. I am very happy with my car which shows a very good level, as is the case every year. We are very positive about the future. »
