Burcu Çetinkaya in Scotland and Cyprus

It has been almost a year since she last appeared in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge. First woman to score points in the discipline, finishing seventh in the Rally from Scotland last season, Burcu Çetinkaya will make his return this weekend, on the occasion of the Scottish Rally. For the occasion, she will sit aboard a Skoda Fabia S2000 fielded by a team based in Belgium belonging to René Georges.

After her Scottish performance in 2010, the Turk took part in the closing round in Cyprus. Due to lack of resources, this season she had to be content with a few appearances in her national championship. But after securing the support of the Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports as well as numerous sponsors, it will present itself well at the start of the rallies in Scotland (October 7-9) and Cyprus (November 3-5). It is always his compatriot Çiçek Güney who will sit alongside him.
