Coronavirus – Rally Lithuania postponed

Competitors in the European Rally Championship (ERC) will have to wait before wearing their helmet again. THE Rally Liepaja, also known as Latvia Rally, will not take place as planned from May 29 to 31, 2020 but on a date still unknown.

The announcement was made after discussions notably between local promoter RA Events, competition organizer Eurosport Events and the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile.

“Every effort is being made with the aim of successfully completing the eight-round calendar in 2020,” said the authorities’ press release, while recalling that “the thoughts of the ERC family are with those affected by deaths or illnesses resulting from Covid-19.

Many jobs have been lost and very uncomfortable situations are occurring for people, so it is very important to follow the rules and stay safe at home. »
