Denis Millet conquers the IRC

Winner of the last Peugeot 206 Cup, Denis Millet will take part in seven European rallies of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge at the wheel of the brand new Peugeot 207 RC Rallye, approved in R3T. Denis Millet and his co-driver Julien Vial are aiming for the two-wheel drive title.

Former winner of the operation Rally Young FFSA, Denis Millet, 25 years old, was chosen this season by Peugeot Sport to complete the development of the Peugeot 207 RC Rallye. On the sidelines of this program comprising four events in France (Epernay-Vins de Champagne, Pays de Gier, Terre de Provence and Auxerre), Denis Millet and Julien Vial will participate in seven European rounds of the IRC.

The challenge is significant for Denis Millet who will discover a new rally format for him, with longer special stages. At the wheel of his Peugeot 207 RC Rallye, entrusted to the J.Com Sport team with the help of the Roger Claustres high school, his objective will be to win the two-wheel drive classification. “The Peugeot Sport team was the driving force behind this project and it will be important to us to demonstrate the potential of the 207 RC Rallye. We discovered it for the first time at the Rallye d'Epernay-Vins de Champagne and we were immediately won over? explains Denis Millet. “We worked a lot with the three Juliens (Vial, Quinonéro, Nicolas) and my entourage to set up this ambitious project and it is an immense satisfaction to be able to get involved in IRC”
