In Hungary, Neuville aims for the podium…or more

Fourth in the Barum Rally at the end of August, Thierry Neuville would like to win this small place in Hungary which would allow him to climb on the podium. On roads unknown to everyone, the Belgian and his co-driver Nicolas Gilsoul hope to shine. At Canon 45 Mecsek Rally, everyone will start on an equal footing?

“The fact that the course is new for everyone erases the lack of experience that I sometimes suffer from elsewhere, underlines the pilot Peugeot Belgium-Luxembourg. This time I will be on equal terms with my rivals. I will be satisfied if I finish on the podium. Why not on the top step? »

On the highest step? This would allow him to pocket a second victory in the discipline after the one won in Corsica in mid-May. The ambitious Belgian driver will therefore set off on the Hungarian roads with rage in his stomach, and the hope of improving his position in the IRC challenge (5th).
