ERC – Breen has victory within reach on Rally Liepaja

Craig Breen (Peugeot 208 T16 R5) has victory within reach at Rally Liepaja contested on the snowy roads of Latvia. The Northern Irishman has more than a minute ahead of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X of Siim Plangi, his closest opponent.

Le rally was quickly deprived of several contenders for victory with the exits at the start of the event of Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford Fiesta R5) and Jonathan Hirschi (208 T16 R5). Robert Consani (Peugeot 207 S2000) is in 11th place. The Frenchman made a poor tire choice on the second pass and was not satisfied with his position on the road.
