ERC – Bruno Magalhaes wins the Azores Rally

Bruno Magalhaes (Skoda Fabia R5) won the Rally of the Azores after taking advantage of the problems of Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford Fiesta R5) and Ricardo Moura (Ford). The Russian was nevertheless well established in the lead before breaking his direction by hitting a stone.

Marijan Griebel (Skoda) finished closest to Bruno Magalhaes, 1'34 behind. The German won the Junior U28 category. Josh Moffett (Ford) completes the podium almost 5 minutes late. The Irishman is ahead of José-Antonio Lopez (Peugeot 208 T16 R5) who moved up the positions after damaging his mount. Nikolay Gryazin (Skoda) completes the top five, just 5s behind the Spaniard.

Chris Ingram (Opel Adam R2) won the category ERC 2 with 14 minutes ahead of Aleks Zawada (Peugeot 208 R2).
