ERC – Bryan Bouffier targets six-race program in 2017

French Bryan Bouffier could well place itself as a serious contender for the European crown ofERC this season. The former French and Polish rally champion will be at the start of the Rally Islas Canarias (4-6 May) at the wheel of the Gemini Clinic Rally Team's Ford Fiesta R5, and is aiming to compete in several other events in 2017.

If nothing has yet been decided concerning the program of the former winner of the Rally Monte-Carlo and the Tour de Corse, the Cyprus Rally, the Rally Rzeszow, the Barum Czech Rally Zlín, the Rally di Roma Capitale, and the Rally Liepāja could well see the Frenchman at the start.

“It's always good to fight for a championship, comments Bouffier. Last year the level of competition wasn't so fantastic, but this year it's much higher and the championship is affordable.

We have a great opportunity and I hope I can do a good job with my team to be in a good position in the championship. I will give everything to be faster because the motivation for this great challenge is there. »
