ERC – Craig Breen seeks his second wind

Second in the European Rally Championship Drivers' standings ERC, Craig Breen is only five points behind Polish leader Kajetan Kajetanowicz before the Barum Rally in the Czech Republic this weekend.

After a series of three consecutive successes between Rally Liepaja in Latvia and the Azores event, the driver Peugeot Sport did not have the same success on the roads of Rally of Ypres (off the road) and in Estonia (loss of oil pressure).

Breen will seek to return to the forefront at Barum, a round which did not please him last year. “This will be my third participation in this difficult event where the roads are very fast, narrow and bumpy.

In 2014, we quickly retired after going off the road so this year the objective will be to not make any mistakes and to score points for the Championship following our last two disappointing results. I have confidence in the entire team to help me achieve these goals. »

The Irishman will have a lot to do tomorrow with notably the Skoda Fabia R5s of Jan Kopecky or Jaromir Tarabus or the Ford Fiesta R5s of Kajetanowicz and Alexey Lukyanuk, the latest winner in Estonia.
