The competition will quickly resume its rights in 2013 with the Jaännerrallye, the first meeting of the European Rally Championship season. This snow event should offer a great battle between several competitors.

ERC – Jännerrallye, first meeting of 2013

The Jännerallye will be the first major motorsport event contested in 2013, the start of rally Austrian being carried out on Friday January 4, the day before the start of the Dakar. The crews will have no less than 18 special stages to decide between themselves, offering a total of 248,5km timed. The first stage will be the most important with ten courses (139,3km), but the second could also reserve surprises with eight additional special stages (109,2km).

The latest winner of the Jännerrallye, Jan Kopecky will be the favorite with his official Skoda Fabia S2000 sporting the number 1. But the Czech will have to be wary of Peugeot 207 S2000 of François Delecour (Kronos Racing) and Bryan Bouffier (Ateneo). Jean-Michel Raoux, another French representative, will also ride in a Sochaux car. Note the presence of Stig Blomqvist on a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX.
