Subaru and its Impreza remain in the collective imagination as one of the great figures of rally. JRM, British tuner will soon launch its new WRX STi, meeting RC2 regulations and eligible for the Production Cup ERC, in the European Rally Championship. It is in June at the Geko Ypres Rally in Belgium that the Japanese will make its debut, before continuing its journey at Barum in the Czech Republic in August and especially on the roads of the Tour de Corse in November.
“Our new Subaru caused a lot of talk as it was the first to be revealed. Many drivers and teams from all over the world have expressed their interest to us, explains James Rumsey, director of JRM. The next step for us is to show the car's capabilities in competition and there is no better theater than the FIA European Rally Championship. »
We do not yet know the driver who will debut this new WRX on the roads of the ERC, but the announcement should come before the end of March.
