ERC – Kajetanowicz performs on the Cyprus Rally

While Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford Fiesta R5) seemed to be the main opponent of Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Fiesta R5) Rally from Cyprus, the Russian was only able to win the first special before being slowed down by power steering problems pushing him back to eighth position. The Championship leader was then able to line up the scratch points to build up a lead of more than two minutes over his closest opponent.

Bruno Magalhães (Peugeot 208 T16) occupies second place while also having a good lead over its direct rival since Jaromir Tarabus (Skoda Fabia S2000) completes the provisional podium, 50 seconds behind the Portuguese.

Robert Consani (DS3 R5) is in fourth place, 11 seconds behind the top three. Christos Demosthenous completes the top five by leading ERC2 in his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX.

The second stage of the Cyprus Rally will begin this Sunday, September 27 from 9:12 a.m.
