ERC – Kajetanowicz does not underestimate Jännerrallye

Fourth of European Rally Championship this season at the wheel of his Ford Fiesta R5, with two podiums achieved in Greece at the Acropolis and in Cyprus, the Pole Kajetan Kajetanowicz will appear at the start of Jännerrally in Austria, as one of the drivers to watch. The Lotos Rally Team driver recognizes that the challenge will be met for the opening of the 2015 season.

“A milder winter should mean the Austrian event will become more difficult than in uniform snowy conditions, indicates Kajetanowicz, cited by the website of theERC. With the temperature around zero degrees, we can be sure that grip on these winding roads will be extremely unstable. Black asphalt looks the same everywhere, but in reality it can hide areas where grip is good, as well as wet or even icy sections. We are driving at high speeds, so it will be a huge challenge. »

If Kajetanowicz had been forced to retire in 2014, it was his compatriot Robert Kubica who won at the start of the year, thanks in particular to an excellent choice of tires at the end of the race. The Jännerrallye will take place from January 4 to 6.
