ERC – Kajetanowicz unrivaled at Jännerrallye

Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Ford Fiesta R5) was undoubtedly the fastest in the Jännerrallye (Austria) since he won with more than seven minutes in advance, winning almost all the specials. Alexey Lukyanuk (Fiesta R5) was the only one to beat the winner at least once by signing the scratch in the last course of the event to reach the last step of the podium at the expense of Jaromir Tarabus (Skoda Fabia S2000). Kajetanowicz brilliantly succeeds his compatriot Robert Kubica who won this snowy event last year and achieved his first success since the Rally of Poland 2013.

Robert Consani (Peugeot 207 S2000) signs a superb result finishing the Jännerrallye in second place. But his compatriots had less success since Stéphane Lefebvre (Citroën DS3 R5) had to dismount following alternator belt breakage while he was playing in the top five. Jean-Michel Raoux (Fiesta R5) was able to grab a place in the top ten by two seconds after being slowed down by hydraulic pressure problems.

Vojtech Stajf (Subaru Impreza WRX STI) won in ERC2 while Slawomir Ogryzek (Peugeot 208 R2) won in ERC3.
