ERC – Kajetanowicz on his way to Latvia?

The first test of European Rally Championship ERC at the Jännerrallye, last month, saw the clear domination of Kajetan Kajetanowicz's Ford Fiesta R5. Dominant from start to finish, the Pole won the rally Austrian with more than seven minutes ahead of his closest pursuer, Frenchman Robert Consani. And in the absence of the official Skoda Fabia S2000 of Esapekka Lappi, who won Rally Liepāja last year on the way to his ERC title, all hopes are high for Kajetanowicz this weekend.

Facing the leader of the general classification, Robert Consani or even Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford), both present on the Austrian podium, will be one to watch on the twelve special stages of this second round of the 2015 ERC. We will also note the presence of the Estonian Raul Jeets, entered in a Fiesta R5 from MM-Motorsport, the former driver's team WRC Markko Martin.

The ERC Junior championship, which crowned Frenchman Stéphane Lefebvre in 2014, will also begin on Rally Liepāja.
