ERC – Lukyanuk hits double in Cyprus

Dominant since the start of the final round of the European Rally Championship, Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford Fiesta R5) made a point of achieving a perfect score this Sunday.

Winner of the three SS contested today (the passage in SS13 counting for the first part of the Golden Stage having been cancelled), Lukyanuk finally concluded with 2'12″2 over Marijan Greibel (Skoda Fabia R5) for his second success of the year after the Canaries and won the €25 at stake for the winner of the Golden Stage.

By finishing second, Marijan Griebel confirms his status as 2016 Junior champion and is ahead of the Fabia R5 of Ralfs Sirmacis. The top 5 has not changed since the end of the second day with David Botka (Citroën DS3 R5) fourth ahead of Christos Demosthenous (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX).
