ERC – Lukyanuk reclaims victory in Valais

Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford Fiesta R5) won on the green carpet at Rally du Valais (Switzerland), last round of the season, after taking advantage of a penalty imposed on Craig Breen (Peugeot 208 T16). The Irishman was penalized two minutes for using 20 tires instead of the regulation 18.

Craig Breen finally finished second, 1'20 behind the Russian, and maintaining a 19-second lead over Olivier Burri (DS3 RRC), while the Peugeot driver had led the event from start to finish. The Irishman will therefore have three victories this year.
