ERC – Peugeot working towards Ypres

After a Rally of Ireland missed and a cruel end in the Azores where Kevin Abbring narrowly failed against the Portuguese Bernardo Sousa at the end of the event, Peugeot Sport will want to return to victory at the next round of the European Championship in Ypres from June 19 to 21.

“The car is fast and I am happy with the speed of the 208T16,
says Irish pilot Craig Breen. “The problems we had at Rally Northern Ireland are behind us. What happened in the Azores was of a completely different nature. I know Peugeot Sport is working hard to make sure we don't have problems again. Our goal is to beat Freddy Loix in Ypres, Belgium. »

The 208 T16 won with Breen during the Acropolis Rally at the end of March. But since then, the Lioness has not returned to the highest step of the podium in ERC. But before Belgium, the 208 will make its debut on the world stage during the Rally Italy in Sardinia from June 6 to 8. Estonian Karl Kruuda will be in charge on the roads of the Italian island
