ERC – Stéphane Lefebvre achieves the double

Stéphane Lefebvre waited for the two French rounds to claim his two crowns in 2014. After the Junior world title won in Alsace, the French driver was crowned at European level during the final of theERC last weekend on the roads of the Tour de Corse.

“We win a new international title, it’s fantastic, says Lefebvre. It's a dream for me. Before the start of the season, this title was a goal. It's a very big moment in my career. This rally was not easy, and I am very happy to have finished second. »

The Habs notably took advantage of the misfortunes of the Italian Fabio Andolfi, victim of a broken transmission shaft at the start of the last loop to move up to second position, behind the winner of the event, another Transalpine, Andrea Crugnola . As a reward, Lefebvre will take part in two European Rally Championship events in 2015 at the wheel of a car meeting R5 regulations. He will also take part in six rounds of the World Championship at the wheel of a Citroën DS3 R5.
