Freddy Loix still plays the game in Ypres

The rain that fell last night in Belgium increased the difficulty of the Rally from Ypres, where the morning's stages were run in the wet. This did not prevent Freddy Loix from signing two new scratches to increase his lead over Guy Wilks to 46??9 before the first assistance of the day. “I am trying for the moment not to make any mistakes, the second pass will be complicated”, warns the leader of the event.

Bryan Bouffier is happy with his morning, where he managed to overtake Pieter Tsjoen to take third place. The Frenchman has a lead of 14 seconds over the first amateur driver in the rally, but he is now 45??3 behind the first driver Peugeot . ?It?s not bad, we got Pieter back. I?m still trying to adapt with the car on the mud?, declares the Frenchman.

The Ypres Rally will be one to forget for Thierry Neuville (Peugeot), who hoped to fight with his compatriot six-time winner of the event. His 207 S2000 suffered another problem with a broken suspension element forcing him to retire from the first special of the day, after his first retirement which occurred on SS1.

The crews will leave from 14:03 p.m. for four stages before the next service at the end of the afternoon.
