IRC: Three-way battle in Ireland

This Friday, the third round of the IRC will start in Ireland. This new addition to the calendar will leave Belfast at 16 p.m. with a legendary super special called the “Titanic Stage”. This special, as its name suggests, will take place in the shipyard where the famous liner was built. The competitors will then set off in two special stages with a more classic format, including one of 25,29 kilometers, the longest of the rally. This first loop will be completed twice and will close the first day. Saturday will be, as usual, the longest day. With 10 stages on the program, the crews will still have their work cut out for them even if the gaps are significant on Friday evening.

In addition, unlike the two previous events, the three “big ones” will be there. Whether it's Andreas Mikkelsen, Juho Häninnen or Jan Kopecky, none of the three will let victory slip away without fighting tooth and nail. However, Andreas Mikkelsen has a small advantage, because he is returning to familiar territory. In fact, he did some freelance work there while participating in this national championship when he was 18 years old. He even finished third in the championship. Knowing the Norwegian, he will be keen to obtain this victory on the ground that he is very fond of. Especially since he is always chasing a victory on the asphalt!
