Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford) was once again above the rest this weekend at the Rally from the Canary Islands (Spain). The Russian won around ten special stages out of the 14 on the program after immediately taking the lead in the race.
The Championship leader finally won with 51 seconds ahead of Nikolay Gryazin (Skoda), winner in the U28 category, while Fabian Kreim (Skoda) completed the podium.
Jose Antonio Suarez (Hyundai) lost the podium for around twenty seconds behind the German.
Laurent Pellier (Peugeot ) completed the Top 5 after taking advantage of the misfortunes of his compatriot Pierre-Louis Loubet (Hyundai) who had to retire towards the end of the rally after encountering electrical problems.
