Nine rounds with the Rallye de Lorraine in the 2023 ERC?

The program for the next championship ERC takes shape. After having ruled out the Azores for logistical reasons, the promoter is continuing his transformation work. Some events remain on the menu such as Fafe, the Canaries, Rome, Poland, Liepaja and Barum. The latter, however, will be his observation after the problems that arose this year. If the Arctic is announced for 2024, there should be an event in Sweden, but not on snow. In the same way, the desire to integrate a rally in France is still present and discussions are well advanced with Lorraine. If this does not succeed in 2023, a new attempt will be made for the following calendar. In total, 9 races should fill the program for the next 12 months with the possibility of registering 7 results. An additional round must therefore still appear, but its location has not yet been revealed. As for the WRC, the dates and events should be announced during the World Council on October 19.
