The 4th meeting of the European Championship began today with the shakedown followed by qualification. Now driving a Hyundai i20 Rally2, Nil Solans won.

Nil Solans best time in qualifying for Rally Poland

Tracé non loin du parc d’assistance qui est installé autour de l’hôtel Golebiewski à Mikolajki, le tronçon utilisé pour le shakedown et la qualification était longue de 3,46 km. Découvrant en course la Hyundai i20 Rally2 de l’équipe Kowax 2Brally Racing, Nil Solans s’est montré le plus rapide. Dans l’après-midi, l’Espagnol sera donc le premier à choisir son ordre de départ pour ce soir et demain. Le premier chrono sera une super spéciale de 2,5 km à partir de 19 heures. L’actuel 2e in the championship ahead of locals Mikolaj Marczyk (Fabia) and Adrian Chwietczuk (Fabia). Among the other expected protagonists, Tom Kristensson (i20) ranked 6e, Efren Llarena 8e and Filipe Mares 13e. The latter will therefore have to be content with a less advantageous position on the road today and especially on Saturday.
