Pierre Campana gives up on Ypres

Pierre Campana impressed the IRC paddock during the last Tour de Corse where the driver Peugeot finished the event in fourth place. The Bastiais was engaged in Rally of Ypres which will take place from June 23 to 25, but he preferred to give up due to a lack of finances.

The Peugeot driver does not hide his disappointment. “I am very saddened not to have found a solution to participate in the Ypres Rally”, explains Pierre Campana. “I really enjoyed my first participation and I was looking forward to my next event this season. We had a lot of discussions with companies, but we were unable to bring in enough funds. »

However, the Bastiais does not lose hope of competing in another IRC Championship event this year. “We are still in discussions to try to get back on track”, specifies Pierre Campana. ?The objective remains to take part in a new event of the IRC Championship and I hope to have good news soon. I would like to prove my potential and thank the people who support me with a good result. »
