Solberg wants to play his luck

“I am very satisfied with my day,” declared the 2003 world champion. “I almost lost everything from the first kilometer of the first special. I brushed a little too close to a rock and slightly modified the geometry of the rear axle. The car was pulling to the right. I was disturbed by it throughout SS1. Afterwards, I got used to it and managed to drive ? almost ? Normally. Ultimately, it was the choice of tires that most disrupted my race. »

55 seconds behind Juho Hänninen and 11 seconds behind Loix, the driver of the Peugeot 207 Super 2000 is still aiming for victory: “The rally is still very long. I'm going to boldly take my chances! »
