On a day marked by rain, it was Gabriele Mini who stood out as the fastest man. If Francesco Simonazzi, entered in Euroformula Open, dominated the timesheet, it was the ART Grand Prix driver who signed the best lap in FRECA.
In the pouring rain of Tuscany, the Italian was able to move to the top of the standings thanks to a lap completed in 2'04"492. He was almost two tenths ahead of Joshua Dufek (MP Motorsport) and Joshua Dürksen (Arden).
Great first day at Mugello for F4 France champion Esteban Masson. Present on site with R-ace GP, the Frenchman ranked 4th with a 2'04"802, just over 3 tenths behind Gabriele Mini. His compatriot Victor Bernier (G4 Racing) finished 7th in 2'05″153, just ahead of another Habs, Sami Meguetounif (Trident). The last representative of France, Owen Tangavelou (G4 Racing) settled for 11th place, just over a second behind the best mark.
