Fourteen drivers have registered for the 2009 European Rally Championship, including a Frenchman, Cyril Vosahlo.
Italy will be the best represented nation with seven drivers: Luca Betti, Elwis Chentre, Giandomenico Basso, Corrado Fontana, Renato Travaglia, Davide di Benedetto and Marco Cavigioli.
Three Bulgarians (Krum Donchev, Dimitar Iliev and Todor Slavov), two Czechs (Jan Cerny and Antonin Tlustak) and the Pole Michal Solowow are also registered.
First meeting in Italy with the Rally 1000 Miglia which will start tomorrow. The European Championship, made up of eleven rounds, will also pass through Belgium (Ypres), France (Antibes) and Switzerland (Valais).
