The Michelin Le Mans will have a substantial starting grid in 2019. 32 cars will be entered, with 22 LM P3s and 10 GT3s. Two French manufacturers will fill the ranks of the LM P3, Ligier (13 prototypes) and Norma (9). To note that the brand new Aston Martin Advantage GT3 will be there for the champions ELMS 2016 Andrew Howard and Ross Gun.
Gérard Neveu, General Director of the Michelin Le Mans Cup, is satisfied with this list of entries. “ We are very happy to see a strong field of 32 cars for the 2019 Michelin Le Mans Cup season. Considering the very high quality of the teams and drivers who will compete this season, we can be sure that each of them will have to work very hard to win the 2019 title.
