Juho Hänninen (Skoda Fabia S2000) did not give up his hopes of victory during the Rally of the Azores. If success seems to elude Kris Meeke (Peugeot S2000), fifth at 51??7 at the end of SS12, the Finn accumulated good times this Friday afternoon. He thus ends the day by stealing second place from his teammate, Jan Kopecky (Skoda Fabia S2000), and finds himself only 2?2 behind the leader, Bruno Magalhaes (Peugeot 207 S2000), while there will be seven special stages to be contested on Saturday.
