Third after SS4, Bruno Magalhaes lost nearly 30″ in SS5 following a transmission problem (box exit tulip) at the front left, which should continue to handicap him until his return to support (after ES7). The best time of SS5 was achieved by Kopecky's Skoda, 1/10th ahead of the Peugeot by Meeke.
