Patron Highcroft Racing drivers David Brabham and Scott Sharp won the eighth American event Le Mans Series, in Mosport, Canada. The drivers of the No. 02 Acura ARX-9a did not encounter any major difficulties, while their main rivals, simon pagenaud and Gil de Ferran, on the other Acura LM P1, were faced with recurring gearbox problems.
In LM P2, it was the Acura ARX-01b of Fernandez/Diaz which won, the two men now having enough of a lead in the standings to win the championship title with two races to go before the end of the season. .
In GT2, Jan’s #6 Corvette C3.R Magnussen and Johnny O?Connel wins in front of the Ferrari F430 by Jaime Melo and Pierre Kaffer.
