Gil de Ferran put on a show during qualifying for the Mid-Ohio ALMS round. Starting mid-session, this one lasting only twenty minutes, the Brazilian chained fast laps, beating the time set by David Brabham by twice. With a time of 1:09:443, the No. 02 Acura ARX-66a will start on pole for the race, which will begin at 15 p.m. this Saturday (21 p.m. in France).
