Gil de Ferran said goodbye to the competition in the most beautiful way. The Brazilian, who teams up with simon pagenaud on the No. 02 Acura ARX 66a, won the Laguna Seca race, the last event of the season. Gil de Ferran had to battle with the Acura P2 of Fernandez Racing, on which the Brazilian finished with only six tenths ahead. This is the last ALMS victory for Gil de Ferran, who is retiring from the track to devote himself fully to his role as team manager.
