While only one loop of three specials still has to be contested, Jan Kopecky (Skoda) occupies the lead of the Rally Principe de Asturias with a lead of 9"5 over Alberto Hevia (Skoda), 2'06"5 over Nicolas Vouilloz (Peugeot , 2'48"8 on Kris Meeke (ditto) and 2'57"0 on Freddy Loix (ditto).
