The Barum Rally, which will start on Friday, will mark the return to the IRC of Bryan Bouffier. The Frenchman, a week after competing in the Ulster Rally at the wheel of the new Citroën DS3 R3, will return to the wheel of the Peugeot 207 S2000.
“From a driving point of view, it’s a very nice rally, confirms the one who finished 3rd in 2008. The event is very popular and the atmosphere is great. The compromise between ease of driving and efficiency is not easy to establish (in Barum, editor's note). The car must both absorb the frequent unevenness of the surface, but also remain efficient in the fastest cornering curves. Whatever happens, I will do everything to bring back as many points as possible for Peugeot in the IRC Manufacturers Challenge. »
