The Frenchman Cyril Raymond (Renault Clio RS RX – GCK Academy) qualified for the Barcelona World RX final after taking third place in the first semi-final dominated by Timmy Hansen (Peugeot 208 – Team Hansen MJP) devant Niclas Grönholm (Hyundai – GRX).
The second semi-final saw Kevin Hansen (Peugeot 208 – Team Hansen MJP) win ahead of Andreas Bakkerud (Audi S1 – Monster Energy RX Cartel) and Janis Baumanis (Ford Fiesta – Team STARD).
