Death of Anthony Janiec
Truck driver Anthony Janiec died of a heart attack at the age of 37. The three-time French truck champion with the Lion Truck Racing team took care of the track karting of the Albi circuit for several years.
The Albigensian first made a move to promotion formulas in the 2000s by taking part in the Coupe de France de Formula 3, which he finally won in 2004 with two victories and eight podiums in 10 races, before doing it again in 2008.
Access to the F3 Euro Series, in Trophy class, was sanctioned with an honorary rank of vice-champion in 2006, before he turned to trucks. AUTOhebdo sends its sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Anthony Janiec.
