Renault Technological Sports, on the sidelines of Rally du Var, has unveiled the trophies that it will put in place in 2011. In France, three trophies will reward the best drivers in different categories: Twingo R1, Twingo R2 and Clio R3.
The “Tingo R1 Trophée France” will be held for the first time and will reward the winner with 10 euros (000 euros for 5nd, 000 euros for 2rd), as well as the winner of each rally (3 euros ). It will have six rounds and will begin as part of the Rally du Touquet.
In addition, Clio R3 drivers, in addition to French and European trophies, will be encouraged to race in IRC. Thus, the Clio R3 driver who wins the two-wheel drive category would be rewarded 25 euros (six selected rallies: Barum, San Remo, Ypres, Corsica, Madeira, Canary Islands).
