The GT1 series, in difficulties recently due to lack of participants, will disappear from the Series program Le Mans next year. To adapt to the evolution of FIA GT1, the teams are now too oriented towards sprint-style races to correspond to the spirit of endurance of the Le Mans Series.
GT2 remains on the program with the creation of a unique category, GT Endurance, which will be made up of two “subcategories”: the LM GT Pro, which will correspond to professional crews and the LM GT Am, which will be made up of “silver” and “bronze” drivers.
