If the Sprint Cup Series took a break this weekend, this was not the case for the Nationwide Series, which took up residence on the Gilles-Villeneuve circuit in Montreal. It was an opportunity for Canadians to see the national hero in action, namely Jacques Villeneuve. The world champion of Formula 1 even did very well since he finished the race in 4th place. Marcos Ambrose, long leader, finished in second place behind Carl Edwards, who won his third Nationwide race of the season. He returns to second place in the standings, still dominated by Kyle Busch, tenth on Sunday.
