Two drivers opened up a significant first gap over the first 36 kilometers of the Rally Monte-Carlo 2011. Stéphane Sarrazin and Juho Hänninen are ahead of Guy Wilks and the other competitors by more than twenty seconds.
In Antraigues, Sarrazin (Peugeot ) seizes first place in the general classification with 0??3 ahead of Hänninen (Skoda). Wilks (Peugeot) is at 20??3, Bouffier (Peugeot) at 20??8, Loix (Skoda) at 24??1, Solberg (Peugeot) at 29??8, Delecour (Peugeot) at 35??7 and Kopecky (Skoda) at 36??0.
Nicolas Vouilloz (Skoda), Henning Solberg (Ford) and Andreas Mikkelsen (Skoda) had punctures. Chris Atkinson (Proton) and Thierry Neuville (Peugeot) are out.
