Thierry Neuville (Peugeot ) takes the lead for the first time Rally of Sanremo after having signed the scratch on the Passo Teglia course. The Belgian completed the 18,8km in 13, or 33 better than Andreas Mikkelsen (Skoda), the previous leader of the event, and Bryan Bouffier (Peugeot).
Thierry Neuville has a lead of only three tenths over Andreas Mikkelsen. The Belgian must have in mind the last Rally of Hungary where he missed victory by eight tenths behind Jan Kopecky (Skoda).
