Juho Hänninen (Skoda Fabia S2000), who took control of the Rally of the Azores thanks to SS15, achieved the best time in the following special. He increased his lead to almost twenty seconds (19??9) over Bruno Magalhaes (Peugeot 207 S2000). The latter, who wishes to maintain his second place, lost two tenths of a second on Jan Kopecky (Skoda Fabia S2000) and is only 2??4 ahead of the Czech.
