The Finn completed the 7,9km in 5:40??2, one second ahead of Andreas Mikkelsen (Skoda) and 4??7 ahead of Guy Wilks (Peugeot ). Jan Kopecky (Skoda) is fourth at 7?2 ahead of Bruno Magalhaes (Peugeot) and Bryan Bouffier (Peugeot).
Andreas Mikkelsen is now the driver closest to the lead of the Rally from the Azores, trailing Juho Hänninen by 6??7. Guy Wilks and Bryan Bouffier both moved up a position at the expense of Ricardo Moura, who fell two places to eighth.
The fifth stage of the Azores Rally has been canceled due to the presence of cows on the route.
