Kris Meeke (Peugeot 207 S2000), hampered by brake problems, had to hand over control of the Rally Sanremo at the end of SS4. The Northern Irishman is now third, ahead of Paolo Andreucci (Peugeot 207 S2000), new leader, and Juho Hänninen (Skoda Fabia S2000). Bryan Bouffier (Peugeot 207 S2000) is fifth, 11??5 from the race lead.
