Andreas Mikkelsen (Skoda) took over the lead Rally of Sanremo by setting the second time of the Colle Langan special. The Norwegian finished nine tenths behind Thierry Neuville (Peugeot ), author of the course scratch.
The Belgian completed the 20,57km in 13??50 and took 3??2 from Bryan Bouffier (Peugeot). “We attacked a little but there were some slippery passages. We were fast but still not fast enough”, explains Thierry Neuville.
His compatriot Freddy Loix lost the lead in the event, falling 5?6 behind the scratch.
Andreas Mikkelsen takes the lead again, two seconds ahead of Freddy Loix. Thierry Neuville comes back to 10??6 on his compatriot. Bryan Bouffier remains in contact with the leaders, the Frenchman being 16??6 from the lead of the rally. Jan Kopecky (Skoda) remains in fifth place, 32??1 behind the leader.
