Organized this evening between Lente and Col de Gaudissart, the prologue of the Rally Monte-Carlo allowed Toni Gardemeister (Abarth Grande Punto Super 2000) to shine.

On this "regularity test" outside the general classification and intended to establish tomorrow's starting order, Gardemeister is ahead of Nicolas Vouilloz (Skoda Fabia Super 2000) and Jan Kopecky (Skoda Fabia Super 2000). Kris Meeke (Peugeot 207 Super 2000) is fourth at 7??5. Followed by Mikko Hirvonen (Ford Fiesta Super 2000), Juho Hänninen (Skoda Fabia Super 2000), Franz Wittmann (Peugeot 207 Super 2000), Guy Wilks (Skoda Fabia Super 2000), Bryan Bouffier (Subaru Impreza WRX STI) and Stéphane Sarrazin (Peugeot 207 Super 2000).

The order of the first ten being reversed to establish the starting order for the first day: Sarrazin will therefore open the road.
